Yes — DraftBook is free while we're in early access. Everything currently available is included at no cost, and we'll give plenty of notice before that ever changes.

Where is my data stored?

Your drafts, scenarios, rosters, scouting, and results are saved to your DraftBook account in the cloud. They sync across your devices and stay available to everyone in your team workspace — earlier versions kept data only in your browser, but that is no longer the case.

How do I create a draft?

Open the Drafts page and click New Draft. Give it a name, pick a type (Scrim, Tournament, or Prep), and optionally set the patch, opponent, and notes. Your new draft opens straight onto the canvas, ready to plan.

What are scenarios and the canvas?

The canvas is an infinite board where each scenario is one draft plan. Branch from any pick to explore an alternate line, compare scenarios side by side, and mark one as Final once your team agrees on the plan.

What is Focus Mode?

Focus Mode opens a single scenario fullscreen as a pick/ban table. You get the champion picker, scouting sidebars, fearless bans, and alternate picks — everything you need to lock in one scenario without leaving it.

Can I plan a best-of series?

Yes. Each draft can hold a multi-game series of up to five games, so you can plan a full Bo3 or Bo5 in one session and switch between games as you go.

What are fearless bans?

In fearless formats, every champion picked or banned in an earlier game is locked out for the rest of the series. DraftBook's fearless panel inherits those carry-over bans automatically, game by game, and lets you adjust any of them by hand.

Can I share or export a draft?

You can copy any scenario as clean, formatted text — handy for pasting into Discord. And when you draft inside a team workspace, everyone on the team can open the session directly.

Can my whole team use DraftBook together?

Yes — create a team workspace and invite your players by email or a join code. Drafts, rosters, pools, scouting, and stats are all shared within the workspace, and live presence shows who's viewing a draft alongside you in real time.

How do I set up my roster?

On the Roster page, add players into the five role columns, plus a row for staff like coaches and analysts. Link each player's Riot account, jump to their OP.GG, and mark starters versus subs to organize your game-day lineup.

What are champion pools?

Each player keeps their own champion pool per role, organized into named groups like Comfort, Meta, or Pocket. Coaches can view the whole roster's pools side by side, and any pool can be dropped straight into a draft.

How do I scout opponents?

Build a scouting library of opponents, organized into color-coded folders for each block on your schedule. For every enemy team you can build an estimated roster and champion pools using the same layout as your own team.

Can I see opponent info while I draft?

Yes. A scouting side panel sits next to the draft with three tabs — your team's pools, the enemy's expected pool, and the enemy's recent match history. Drag any champion from the panel straight into a draft slot.

How do I record a match result?

After a game, log the result from the draft it came from — either enter it manually (with an optional scoreboard screenshot) or upload the ROFL replay and let DraftBook fill in the details. Every result stays linked to the draft that produced it.

What is a ROFL file, and where do I find it?

A ROFL is the replay file the League client saves for each game — you can download it from your Match History in the client. Upload it to DraftBook and it auto-fills the game's KDA, objectives, and duration so you don't have to enter them by hand.

What statistics does DraftBook show?

Two kinds. Draft Stats summarize how you draft — most-drafted and most-banned champions, first-pick priorities by side, and your activity over time. Results Stats roll up your match history into win rates by champion, side, player, and patch, plus radar charts for comparing champions.

Pro analytics — browsing competitive drafts and champion trends from the major leagues — is currently in development and temporarily unavailable. It will return in a future update.
